Daglig Omsatte Fond

Key takeaways

  • AuAg's funds are daily traded funds: units are bought and sold once per trading day at the fund's unit price (NAV), not continuously like a share.

  • An order that reaches the fund company before your platform's cut-off time, usually 1:00 pm CET, is executed at the price set the following morning.

  • The unit price is based on the order day's closing prices on every market where the fund holds shares, with the US market as the last to close.

  • Platforms normally show the new price around 1:00–2:00 pm. AuAg's fund pages publish it earlier.

  • The funds are closed for trading on weekends and on Swedish and US public holidays.

Hvordan det fungerer

Hvordan daglig omsatte fond fungerer

Hvordan daglig omsatte fond fungerer

What is NAV?

NAV (net asset value) is the value of a fund's assets minus its liabilities, divided by the number of units outstanding. In a daily traded fund, it is the price at which you buy and sell units.

Fondrutinen

Rutinen for daglig omsatte fond

Steg 1 - Plassere en ordre:
Investoren plasserer fondsordren på hver plattform.

Steg 2 - Stopp-tid:

Example: an order placed on a Tuesday

You place a buy order on Tuesday at 10:00 am. The platform sends it to the fund company the same day at the cut-off. On Wednesday morning, the unit price is set based on Tuesday's closing prices, and your units are bought at that price. The price appears on your platform on Wednesday afternoon.

If you instead place the order on Tuesday at 3:00 pm, after the cut-off, it counts as placed on Wednesday. It is then executed at the price set on Thursday morning.

How to invest in a daily traded fund

1. Choose a platform. AuAg's funds are available through various banks and fund platforms. Availability differs between countries, so check whether yours offers them.

2. Pick the fund and account type. Depending on where you live, fund units can be held in a regular securities account or in a tax-advantaged savings or pension account. The rules differ between countries.

3. Read the fund documents. The prospectus and key information document describe the fund's strategy, risks and fees.

4. Place your order before the cut-off. The order is executed at the next unit price, as described above.

Public holidays and closed days

The funds are closed for trading on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, both in the country where the funds are registered and in the US. The unit price is then published on the next business day.

If the fund is closed for a public holiday while the US market is open, the next unit price reflects two days of price movements on the US market.

Summary

In AuAg's funds, daily trades are executed once per trading day. An order placed before your platform's cut-off time is executed at the unit price set the following morning, based on the order day's closing prices on all of the fund's markets. The latest price is published first on the fund pages for AuAg Silver Bullet, AuAg Gold Rush, AuAg Essential Metals and AuAg Precious Core.

Frequently asked questions

It can take some time before the units appear in your account, but this does not affect your order. It is always executed according to the routine above, and the price is shown on your transaction note.

The order counts as placed on the next trading day and is executed at that day's price.

It varies. Many platforms use 1:00 pm CET, but check with your bank or platform.

Not always. The fund is closed on public holidays in the country where it is registered and in the US. An order placed on a closed day is executed on the next trading day.

A daily traded fund trades once per day at the fund's unit price. An ETF trades continuously on a stock exchange at a market price that can change during the day.
